Setting of amount of slack for feeding from DP
Description
Adjusts the amount of slack generated when the optional DP is used.
Purpose
Use this mode if an original non-feed jam, oblique feed or wrinkling of original occurs when the DP is used.
Method
Press the start key.
Setting
1. Select the item by lighting a copy exposure indicator using the copy exposure adjustment keys.
2. Change the setting using the zoom +/- keys.
The greater the value, the larger the amount of slack; the smaller the value, the smaller the amount of
slack.
If an original non-feed jam or oblique feed occurs, increase the setting value. If wrinkling of original
occurs, decrease the value.
3. Press the start key. The value is set.
Interrupt copy mode
While this maintenance item is being performed, copying from an original can be made in interrupt copy
mode.
Completion
Press the stop/clear key. The indication for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.

Checking/clearing the time for the exposure lamp to light
Description
Displays or clears the accumulated time for the exposure lamp to light.
Purpose
To check duration of use of the exposure lamp. Also to clear the accumulated time for the lamp after replace-
ment.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item by lighting a copy exposure indicator using the copy exposure adjustment keys.
Clearing
1. Light exp. 3.
2. Press the start key. The accumulated time is cleared, and the indication for selecting a maintenance
item No. appears.
Completion
To exit this maintenance item without changing the accumulated time, press the stop/clear key. The indication
for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.
