5.8 DDNS
Via a dynamic DNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) you can assign an individua
l
fixed domain to your Speedport Plus 2
on the internet, even if it does not have a fixed IP
address.
The fixed (static) name of the domain will be dynamically forwarded to the current
IP
address. With this feature enabled, your home network is reachable from external
devices.

1. Click on DDNS.
2. Configure the following parameters (Table 5-8).
3. When you have finished configuring your settings, confirm the changes by clicking
the Apply button. Click the Cancel button if you do not want to save your changes.
