Attaching The Seat
NOTE:Forshippingreasons,theseatis eitherfastenedtothe tractor
seat'spivotbracketwitha plastictie,or mountedbackwardto thepivot
bracket.Ineithercase,free theseatfromits shippingpositionbeing
carefulnotto bendor kinkthe wiringharnessandfollowtheinstruc-
tionsbelowto attach it.
1. Removethetwo hexscrewsandnutsfromthe seatpivotbracket.
2. Alignthefrontholesofthe seatmountingbracketwiththe holesin
theseatpivotbracketon yourtractorand securewith previously
removedhexscrewsandnuts. SeeA in Figure4.
3. Plugthewiringharnessintotheseatsafetyswitchinthe bottomof
theseat,asshownin Bof Figure4.
NOTE:Thetractorwill notoperatewiththe wiringharness
disconnected.
Adjusting the Seat
Toadjustthe positionof theseat,pullupandholdthe seatadjustment
lever.Slidethe seatforwardor rearwardtothedesiredposition;then
releasetheadjustmentlever.Makesure seatis lockedintopositionin
a seat-stopbeforeoperatingthetractor.SeeFigure5.
Beforeoperatingthetractor,makesuretheseatis engagedina
seat-stop.Engagetheparkingbrake.Standbehindthe machineand
pull backon seatuntilit clicksintoplace.
