JUMP STARTING

1. Connectpositive(+)cableto positivepost(+)of yourtractor's
dischargedbattery.
2. Connecttheotherendof thecabletothe positive(+)postof the
jumperbattery.
3. Connectthesecondcablenegative(-) tothe negativepost(-) of
thejumperbattery.
4. Connecttheotherendof thenegativecabletothe engineblockof
thetractor,awayfromthe battery.Attachtoanunpaintedpartto
assurea goodconnection.
Ifthejumper batteryis installedona vehicle(i.e.car,truck),do NOT
startthe vehicle'senginewhenjumpstartingyourtractor.
5. Startthe tractor(as instructedearlierin thissectionof this
manual).
6. Setthe tractor'sparkingbrakebeforeremovingthejumpercables,
in reverseorderofconnection.
