Solution Prompt the user to respond.
This may, however, result in a long delay before the
communications software responds to the remote user
hanging up. To minimize this delay, try to modify the
following settings:
1. Voice message recording time.
2. The number of prompts.
3. The time to wait for a response after prompting.
Problem Poor sound quality when using communication
software.
Cause Some 32-bit sound and communication software
require a Unimodem V file. Win95 normally installs the
file. However, in some installations the file is missing
and that could affect sound quality when 32-bit
software is used.
Solution Try to install the Unimodem V file as follows:
1. Go to www.modemblaster.com Download Software
Drivers section. Download Unimodem V file.
2. Use Windows Explorer and copy the file
unimodv.exe to your Windows/System directory.
3. Run unimodv.exe -- this can be done by double
clicking on the file under Windows Explorer.
4. Find the file unimodv.inf and right click your
mouse button on this file and choose install from the
pop up menu.
5. Restart your computer to activate Unimodem V.
