6. If the tractor has any implements that use
the implement control valve, lower them
to the ground
(including the front-mounted one).

(a) Lower the implement to the ground
7. Pull the throttle control lever by 1/3 to 1/2
stroke.
(A) Throttle control lever
(a) To increase the engine speed, push the throttle control
lever forward.
(b) To decrease the engine speed, pull the throttle control
lever back.
8. Depress the clutch pedal.
