Motion Detection
Motion detection allows you to dene specic areas that will be monitored for motion by your camera. These settings will be used to trigger
snapshots or recordings. Refer to “Mail” on page 38 and “FTP” on page 40 for more details.

Click to enable the motion detection feature of your camera.
Select Always if you want to have motion detection always enabled,
or click Schedule to select day(s) and enter a time period.
Select a number representing the measurable dierence between
sequential images required to determine whether there is motion. (A
higher number makes it easier for motion to be detected.)
Use your mouse to click on the blocks representing the areas that you
would like to monitor for motion.
Click Save Settings.
