Static Pool Settings
The DHCP address pool denes the range of IP addresses that can be assigned to stations on the network. A static pool allows specic wireless
stations to receive a xed IP without time control.
Function Enable/Disable Click the drop-down menu to enable or disable
the DAP-3666 functions as a DHCP server. By
default this feature is disabled.
Dynamic Host Conguration Protocol (DHCP)
assigns dynamic IP addresses to devices on
the network. This protocol simplies network
management and allows new wireless devices
to receive IP addresses automatically without
the need to manually assign new IP addresses.
Host Name Enter the name of the host entry. Spaces are not
valid character options.
Assigned IP Enter the IP address of the device requesting
association.
Assigned MAC Address Enter the MAC address of the device requesting
association.
Subnet Mask Enter the subnet mask of the IP address
specied in the “IP Assigned From” eld.
Gateway Enter the gateway address for the wireless
network.
WINS Enter the Windows Internet Naming Service
(WINS) server address for the wireless network.
WINS is a system that determines the IP address
of a network computer with a dynamically
assigned IP address, if applicable.
DNS Enter the DNS server address for your wireless
network.
Domain Name Enter the domain name for the network.
Save Click to save the updated conguration.
To make the updates permanent, click
Conguration > Save and Activate.
