7.4 Mounting the indoor unit
7.4.1 About mounting the indoor unit
When
You have to mount the outdoor and indoor unit before you can
connect the refrigerant and water piping.
Typical workflow
Mounting the indoor unit typically consists of the following stages:
1 Installing the indoor unit.

7.4.3 To install the indoor unit
1 Lift the indoor unit from the pallet and place it on the floor. Also
see "3.3.3To handle the indoor unit"on page8.
2 Connect the drain hose to the drain. See "7.8.5To connect the
drain hose to the drain"on page40.
3 Slide the indoor unit into position.
4 Adjust the height of the leveling feet to compensate for floor
irregularities. The maximum allowed deviation is 1°.
NOTICE
Do NOT tilt the unit forwards:

Make sure the outdoor and indoor unit are mounted.
Typical workflow
Connecting the refrigerant piping involves:
▪ Connecting the refrigerant piping to the outdoor unit
▪ Connecting the refrigerant piping to the indoor unit
▪ Insulating the refrigerant piping
▪ Keeping in mind the guidelines for:
▪ Pipe bending
▪ Flaring pipe ends
▪ Brazing
▪ Using the stop valves

refrigerant piping

DANGER: RISK OF BURNING
CAUTION
▪ Do NOT use mineral oil on flared part.
▪ Do NOT reuse piping from previous installations.
▪ NEVER install a drier to this R32 unit to guarantee its
lifetime. The drying material may dissolve and damage
the system.
