1 Remove the top panel. See "7.2.4To open the indoor unit"[471].
2 Remove the user interface panel. See "7.2.4To open the indoor unit"[471].
3 Lower the switchbox. See "7.2.5 To lower the switch box on the indoor
unit"[473].
4 Remove the tube from the temperature and pressure relief valve that is
located on top of the tank.
5 Remove the temperature and pressure relief valve from the tank.
6 Use a drain hose and a pump to drain the tank via the access point.

7 Tightening torques for installation:

Tube connection 30N•m
Temperature and pressure relief valve 40N•m
13.4 To inspect the inside of the domestic hot water tank
DANGER: RISK OF BURNING/SCALDING
The water in the tank can be very hot.
Prerequisite: Stop the unit operation via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Close the cold water supply.
Prerequisite: Open all the hot water tapping points to allow air to enter the
system.
Prerequisite: Remove the top panel. See "7.2.4To open the indoor unit"[471].
