NOTICE
Before pump down. Before using the unit's automatic pump down function, do the
following settings:
▪ Set [C-07]=0 (or [2.9]: Main zone > Control = Leaving water)
▪ Set [E-08]=0 (or [9.F]: Installer settings > Power saving function =
No)
Pump down operation will extract all refrigerant from the system into the outdoor
unit.
1 Remove the valve lid from the liquid stop valve and the gas stop valve.
2 Install a manifold on the gas stop valve.
3 Start the pump down operation via the user interface integrated in the indoor
unit:
1 Set the user permission level to Installer. See "To change
the user permission level"[4139].

2 Go to [A.5]: Commissioning > Pump down .
3 Select Pump down.
4 Select OK to confirm.
Result: The pump down operation starts. It stops automatically
when done.
To stop the pump down operation manually: —
1 In the menu, go to Stop pump down.
2 Select OK to confirm.
4 After 5 to 10minutes (after only 1 or 2minutes in case of very low ambient
temperatures (<−10°C)), close the liquid stop valve with a hexagonal wrench.
5 Check on the manifold if the vacuum is reached.
6 After 2-3 minutes, close the gas stop valve and stop the pump down
operation.
