Why Danfoss EET compressor does not start?
    • S
      Sarah OrtizAug 10, 2025
The compressor might not start because the spindle is in the “OFF” position; in this case, change the spindle position by rotating clockwise. It could also be due to waiting for power on delay, so check and wait until “Pod” expires. Other potential causes include: the cabinet air temperature is less than the compressor cut-in temperature (check cabinet air sensor temp. “att”), defrost is in progress (check and wait until dAt and dot expires), the line voltage is too low or too high (check line voltages are within low and high voltage limits specified under uLi, uLo and uHo), or high condenser temperature (check for condenser sensor temp’ct1’ and configured condenser block limit’cbL’).

What to do if Danfoss EET Controller does not maintain correct cabinet temperature?

If the Danfoss Controller isn't maintaining the correct cabinet temperature, it could be due to a fault with the cabinet air sensor. Check the S1 sensor and sensor alarm status. Another potential cause is a fault with the potentiometer, so check the controller potentiometer function.

What to do if Danfoss EET Controller fan does not start?

      Sean KaneAug 20, 2025
If the fan isn't starting, it could be because the door is open or the door contact is defective. Check “Fdt” and the door status, ensuring the door contact is working correctly. Another reason might be that the fan stopped due to high evaporator temperature; check the evaporator sensor temp. “Et1/Et2” and FLt. Also, check the configuration of ‘Fdd’ and “Ftd” parameters, as it could be due to fan start delay and temperature settings after defrost.

What to do if frost is not fully melted during defrost in Danfoss EET?
    • M
      michael67Aug 25, 2025
If frost is not fully melted during defrost, check the position and fitting of the evaporator sensor. Also, examine the configured dii, dAi, dit, and dAt values, as too long defrost intervals or a configured defrost time that is too short could be the cause.
