Why Danfoss MP1 Water Pump control operates pump in one direction only?
    • J
      Jeffrey MosesJul 28, 2025
If the Danfoss Water Pump control only operates in one direction, there may be a control coil failure. Measure the resistance at the coil pins. The resistance should be 14.20 ohms (24V) or 3.66 ohms (12V) at 20°C [70°F]. Replace the coil if the resistance is incorrect.

How to check filter bypass indicator switch on Danfoss MP1 Water Pump?
    • D
      diane37Aug 3, 2025
If you're having issues with the filter bypass indicator switch on your Danfoss Water Pump, the filter switch itself might be defective. Check or replace the filter switch. Additionally, add a gauge to the filter bypass port to ensure proper fluid flow and verify the switch operation by measuring resistance: open resistance should be 510 ohms, and closed resistance should be 122 ohms.

Why is my Danfoss Engine system operating hot?
    • M
      murraytrevorAug 11, 2025
If the Danfoss Engine system is operating hot, it could be due to several reasons. First, check the hydraulic fluid level and fill the reservoir to the proper level if it's insufficient, as this can prevent adequate cooling. Also, make sure the heat exchanger has enough air flow and is in good working order; repair or replace it if needed. Finally, repair or replace any faulty relief valves and check that the machine loads are not too high, as an unseated relief valve can cause overheating.

What to do if my Danfoss Engine has system noise or vibration?
    • T
      Tracy FergusonAug 20, 2025
If your Danfoss Engine system is experiencing noise or vibration, start by checking the hydraulic fluid level and fill the reservoir to the correct level to avoid cavitation. Ensure the oil supply to the motor is sufficient and the lines are clear. Also, purge any trapped air from the system lines and components, as air can cause cavitation. Verify that the shaft coupling is correct and properly fitted. Proper shaft alignment is also crucial to reduce frictional vibration. Finally, if the oil viscosity is too high, replace the hydraulic oil with a fluid appropriate for the operating conditions.
