contractor must determine a more appropriate area (in accordance with NEC and/or local
code) for these opening and manually make the opening in the sheet metal cabinet and/or
electrical control box.
Connect the electrical facility power to the input terminal block or optional disconnect switch.
The wiring diagram for each unit is located on the inside of the electrical panel door.
All field wiring should be done in a professional manner and in accordance with all governing
codes. Before operating unit, double check all wiring connections, including the factory
terminals. Factory connections can vibrate loose during shipment.
Installation of the remote temperature and humidity sensors (Optional) should not be placed
where they will be directly affected by machines other or equipment which gives off heat or
moisture. Prevent exposure to direct sunlight.
Commissioning Information
In general with respect to Data Aire products, the commissioning process is the integration of
Data Aire units with your project design system. Data Aire can help provide the installation and
maintenance support, but the commissioning is normally done as specified by the owner or
others unless otherwise specified. Startup service assistance maybe available from our
Service Department. Contact Data Aire Service Department for details.
The commissioning includes pre-startup inspections of installed components, subsystems and
systems and the execution of the verification and functional performance testing and related
system controls. The commissioning field work is conducted in accordance with the project-
specific verification and functional performance test plan. This test plan includes a clear
description of the design specifications and information which pertains to Data Aire equipment
operation and controls sequence, cut sheets and Installation, Operation and Maintenance
manuals.
