Display De-Emphasis in Use (low sample rates)
A Automatic - the unit automatically implements the De-
Emphasis characteristic coded in the data stream.
The display changes to 5 or C when De-Emphasis is
automatically applied.

The unit implements 50/15µs De-Emphasis.
C The unit implements CCITT J17 De-Emphasis.
- De-Emphasis disabled.
Table 2 – Emphasis Indication, low sample rates
dCS recommend setting the unit to Automatic unless there is an error in
the De-Emphasis message in the incoming data stream.

Mode Display --
At sample rates over 48kS/s, the single digit LED Mode display to the right of
the De-Emphasis button shows the input format:
