GS - Speed Limit
Qualifiers: Q, S, R.
This message is used to configure the speed limits that can be used to trigger events.
The message has the following format:
AABCCCC
o AA: Index. Range 00-09. Specifies one of the speed limits associated with a speed
limit signal SAA.
o B: Active flag:
1: Speed limit is active
U: Delete speed limit
o CCCC: Speed limit in miles per hour times 10.
Examples:
To create the speed limit 00 having a value of 55mph send to the unit:
>SGS0010550<
Now an event can be defined so that a report is generated any time that the vehicle
exceeds 55mph. The event 33 is used in this example for no particular reason:
>SED33NV0;S00+<
