RT - Reset message
Qualifiers: S, R.
When used with qualifiers it serves multiple initializations purposes. The valid
options are:
o Without a Qualifier (i.e: >SRT<): Restarts the unit. This option does not delete
any configuration parameter or stored information.
o ;CONFIG: Resets almost all the configuration of the unit. The preserved
parameters are: PIN, APN, ID, Destination Points, IMEI as ID. This prevents
loosing communication over the air with the unit. In order to delete absolutely
all off the unit's parameters use the ;ALL option.
o ;ALL: Resets all of the configuration of the unit. This option should not be used
over the air because it will cause the unit to lose communication with the server.
o ;SFBUFF: Deletes the contents of the Store & Forward buffer.
o ;GPS: Does a GPS Cold Start and deletes the current position information. It is
important to not use this command often because the GPS will take a long time
to retrieve the position information again.
o ;SPO: This command will prepare the unit for a safe battery disconnection. If the
main power supply is not present. This command can only be sent over the serial
port.
Warning:
This Configuration Message may not generate a reply (I.E: >RRT<) every time the
message is sent to the unit. If the listener server is designed to wait for a reply to
each configuration command, it may become stuck trying to send this command
even if the unit already accepted it.
