Units with a model number beginning in the letter “D” must be installed indoors, protected from the weather,
direct sunlight, and freezing temperatures. These units must be located in a room with an air-temperature
range of 70°F (21°C) to 90°F (32°C) and a relative-humidity range of 10% to 80%.
Units with a model number beginning with the letter “R” may be
installed indoors or outdoors. “R” units do not have the above
temperature and humidity limitations.
