1. Each string consists of 32 Unicode characters with the first character is at the lowest register
address, NULL terminators are not used.
2. The strings are user defined but are intended to allow the site and unit to be identified.
3. The contents of these strings will never change while the slave device is operating so a copy
can be held by the master to minimise traffic.
