7 PNEUMATIC CONNECTION

7.1.1 On DP(A)X, DCX3/4 and NEOS actuators
Changing from an NC unit To a NO unit
• Remove the pneumatic tubes  4/6 28 from the quick couplings 7 and 11 of channels P and 1 of the signalling
unit and of the actuator A.
• Disassemble the signalling unit.
• Modify the actuator to the NO configuration according to the valve maintenance manual.
• On the actuator, disassemble the smooth square and the quick-connect square 11a and replace them with a
pierced plug 8b.
• Mount the signalling unit on the NO actuator.
• On the unit, replace the pierced plug 8a with a quick-connect square connector 11b, and connect the two quick-
connect square connectors with a pneumatic tube  4/6 28a.
• Wire the electric cables depending on the type of unit and following the connection diagrams provided in this
manual.
• Restore pressure on channel P using the right quick connector 7.
