4.3. Programmable Parameters
4.3.1. General
A parameter can be programmed upon selection. The selected
parameter is indicated by a symbol. Selecting a parameter is
done by pressing the arrow keys. The actual value of the selected
parameter is displayed.
Each programmed parameter is checked against its minimum and
maximum value. If a programmed value is invalid the value will be
limited at its minimum or maximum value.
The function Xp is not a programmable parameter. If Xp is
selected the actual position of the back gauge is displayed.
The parameters are:
- Xp = actual position of the back gauge
- Xm = programmed position of the back gauge
- # = Stock counter: counting of products
- ST = the number of steps
- M = entry point for programming constants
4.3.2. Actual position readout Xp
If Xp is selected the actual back gauge position is displayed.
If the reference has not passed yet only a dashed line is
displayed.
When a programmed step is shown, Xp cannot be selected as a
parameter, it can only be read from the central part of the display.
You can only select Xp when you are in manual mode (step 0).
Then you can move the axis with the +/- keys.
4.3.3. Back gauge position Xm
Xm is the intended position for the axis. Xm must be programmed
to the required value.
