Replacing the touchpad

Procedure
1 Place the touchpad into the slot on the palm-rest assembly. Ensure to align the touchpad using the alignment pins on the
palm-rest assembly.
2 Slide and place the touchpad bracket into the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
3 Replace the ve screws (M2x2.5) that secure the touchpad bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
4 Slide the touchpad-button cable into the connector on the touchpad and close the latch to secure the touchpad-button
cable.
5 Adhere the touchpad cable to the touchpad bracket.
6 Slide the touchpad cable into the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the touchpad cable.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the computer base.
