Removing the left power-adapter port

Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
3 Remove the wireless card.
4 Remove the solid-state drive (in SSD1 slot).
5 Remove the rear-I/O cover.
6 Remove the computer base.
7 Remove the heat-sink assembly.
Procedure
1 Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the power-adapter port bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
2 Slide the power-adapter port bracket o the palm-rest assembly.
3 Lift both power-adapter ports o the palm-rest assembly to uncross the cables.
4 Disconnect the right power-adapter port cable from the system board.
