e. Lift the hard drive tray away from the computer [7].
Installing the hard drive tray
1. Place the hard drive tray on the computer.
2. Tighten the screws to secure the hard drive tray to the computer.
3. Connect the system board cable to the connector.
4. Connect the hard drive cable to the connector.
5. Fix the adhesive tape.
6. Install the:
a. base cover
b. optical drive
c. hard drive
d. battery
7. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.

Removing the Smart card board
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. battery
b. hard drive
c. optical drive
d. base cover
e. hard drive tray
3. To remove the Smart card board:
a. Lift the latch [2] and disconnect the cable from the connector [3].
b. Remove the screws that secure the Smart card board [6].
