Expanded operating temperature restrictions
Do not perform a cold startup below 5°C.
135 W (4 core, 6 core, or 8 core) and 145 W processors are not supported.
Non-Dell qualified peripheral cards and/or peripheral cards greater than 25 W are not supported.
PCIeSSD is not supported.
When populating the blade slots in the M1000e enclosure with only PowerEdge M630 blades:
Install 86 mm width heat sink for processors of 120 W or more
Install 68 mm width heat sink for processors of less than 120 W.
If you install a blade with twoprocessors in the M1000e enclosure, all blade slots in the enclosure must have PowerEdge
M630 blades with the same configuration (PowerEdge M630 blades withtwoprocessors). However, vacant blade slots in
the enclosure can be installed with blade blanks.
