NOTE: Youmust remove processor or DIMM blank when installing two processors or to serviceother components inside
the system.
1.
Follow the safety guidelines listed in safety instructions section.
2.
Followthe procedure listed in the Beforeworking inside yoursystem section.
3.
Your system does not have processor or heat sink installed.
Steps
1.
Align the standoffs on the processor or DIMM blank with the heat sink retention sockets on the processor socket.
2.
Lower the processor or DIMM blank onto the system until the standoffs on the processor or DIMM blank engages with the heat
sink retention sockets.
