Installing the M.2 2280 solid state drive

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
NOTE: Depending on the configuration ordered, your computer may support an M.2 2230 solid state drive or an M.2 2280
solid state drive.
NOTE: A thermal pad is adhered to the system board under the M.2 solid state drive. If the thermal pad is inadvertently
separated from the system board during the removal or replacement of the M.2 solid state drive, readhere the thermal pad
to the system board.
NOTE: This procedure applies only to computers shipped with an M.2 2280 solid state drive.

installation procedure.
