SQUARING THE BLADE VERTICALLY TO THE TABLE
Place a framing square (B) on the table surface and against both blade and riving knife. The framing square should be in full contact
with the blade face and riving knife. See Figure 39.
If it is not square, adjust the 0-degree stop as shown in “Adjusting The Bevel Stops” below.

LEVELING THE THROAT PLATE
To install throat plate, slip tab into slot at back of saw and push down to secure in place.
See Figures 38 & 38a.
NOTE: There are four screws pre-assembled to the throat plate that can be used for leveling the throat plate if necessary. Turn
screws clockwise to raise the throat plate, counter clockwise to lower. Plate should be even or slightly below table surface. Plate
should not be above or more than 1/4 inch (0.7 MM) below the table on infeed side. On outfeed side plate should be below or no
more than 1/4 inch (0.7 MM) above the table.
