2.4.4 EtherCAT communication ports and indicators
Definitions of the communication ports and LED indicators for the R2-ECx004 series models are
as follows.
Green

The LED indicators for the communication ports (RJ-45) are green, which indicate the EtherCAT
communication connection status.

EtherCAT connection is not established.
Off
ON
EtherCAT connection is established but no data transmission.
Solid on
Blinking
EtherCAT connection is established and data is in transmission.
Flashing
WARNING
Follow the instructions for power supply and wiring to prevent any danger.
 Use two independent 24 V
DC
power supplies for the module and the common input /
output points for proper operation.
 Use 26 - 18 AWG wires for wiring.
