4.3.5.5 32N Wattmetric Earth Protection
The Directional Active Over Power settings are Menu> Protection Settings> Power Protection
Settings> Wattmetric Earth Protection
Wattmetric soil protection (32N) is used to detect the negative or positive residual power
direction. In the selection of the negative alternance voltage, if the angle difference between
the negative alternance voltage and the current is in the predefined direction (forward or
reverse), 32N gives the trip signal after a certain time delay. In the case of the residual voltage
selection, if the angle difference between the residual voltage and the residual current is in the
predefined direction (forward or reverse), 32N gives the trip signal after a certain time delay.
Directional Active Over Power is indicated by Pe> and Pe>> in IEC 60617; PI_PSDE_1 and
PI_PSDE_2 in IEC 61850; 32N-I-1 ve 32N-I-2 in IEEE/ANSI Standards
