Why is internet radio not working on my Denon Docking Speakers?

  If internet radio on your Denon Docking Speakers isn't playing, check the connection status of your Ethernet cable or network. Also, this unit can play only Internet radio programs in MP3 and WMA formats. Review the firewall settings of your PC or router. The radio station might not be broadcasting currently, so try another station. Finally, verify that the set’s IP address is correct. Some radio stations may go silent at certain times of the day, so try again later.

Also, confirm that iTunes or the iPhone/iPod touch/iPad have firmware that supports AirPlay installed and update to the latest firmware if needed.

  If your Denon Docking Speakers cannot be operated with the remote control unit, replace the batteries with new ones. Ensure you're operating the remote within 23 ft/7 m and at an angle within 30°. Remove any obstacles between the unit and the remote. Insert the batteries in the proper direction, checking the q and w marks. Move the set to a place where the remote control sensor isn't exposed to strong light.

  If music stored on a NAS cannot be played on your Denon Docking Speakers, enable the DLNA server function in the NAS setting if you use a NAS in conformity with the DLNA standard. If your NAS doesn't conform to DLNA, play the music via a PC, setting Windows Media Player’s media sharing function and adding the NAS to the selected play folder. If connection is restricted, set audio equipment as the connection target.

  If you're experiencing intermittent breaks or AirPlay malfunctions with your Denon Docking Speakers when using AirPlay with an iPhone/iPod touch, quit the applications running in the background and try playing via AirPlay again. Outside conditions may affect the unit when playing via a wireless connection. Update the iPhone/iPod touch application or iTunes to the latest version.

  If the operation buttons on the upper part of your Denon Docking Speakers flash white approximately every 2 seconds, the protection circuit has been activated by a rise in humidity inside the unit. Turn off the power and re-apply it after the temperature has fallen sufficiently. Re-install the unit in a place with good ventilation.
