Press ON/STANDBY.
The power of DN-501C is switched ON, and the display screen lights.

While DN-501C is stopped, press MENU.
The menu list is displayed.

Rotate the jog dial to select “06 Utility”, and press the jog dial.

Rotate the jog dial to select “04 Format Media”, and press the jog dial.
A pop up message is displayed.

Select “OK” and press the jog dial.
The media is formatted.
• Press either the
Back or STOP button and selected Cancel to return.
