Various playback functions with RC-F400S
You can perform Hot Start playback by using the hot start remote control RC-F400S (sold separately).
RC-F400S features
Quick file search with the jog dial.
Large 3.8” display (320X240 dots).
Stationary top panel operations.

w Function buttons
Correspond to the function display.
e Fast rewind button (6)
r Fast forward button (7)
t Jog dial (8/9)
Rotate the jog dial to search for folders and
files.
Press the jog dial to play back the selected file.
y Play/Pause button (PLAY/PAUSE)
The green light is on during playback and the
green light flashes during pause.
u Stop/Cue button (STOP/CUE)
Lights orange during stop or cueing.
i Hot start buttons (1-20)
Corresponds to the Hot Start list.

Part names and functions
With RC-F400S, you can only perform playback operations. You cannot set various menu modes (menu
list/file list/file menu). When you are making changes in the menu, the RC-F400S will display “wait...”.
NOTE
If the firmware version of your RC-F400S is an earlier version than A-5.00 it will not work correctly with
the DN-501C. Please visit our website (URL:http://www.d-mpro.com) for the latest firmware version.
The RC-F400S version information is displayed under the startup screen that appears when it is turned on.
