Selecting the media to playback

Press ON/STANDBY.
The power of DN-501C is switched ON, and the display screen
lights.

While DN-501C is stopped or in cue, press MEDIA.
The media list is displayed.

Rotate the jog dial to select the media that you want
to play back, and press the jog dial.
• To change the playback folder, press the LIST button on the remote
control or select “File List” in the menu (vpage20).
Playback
Rotate the jog dial to select the le that you want to
playback, and press 1.
1 lights and playback starts.
End Monitor
In the cued state, press the jog dial while holding down
SHIFT.
• The end of the track is played back for the amount of time set in
“End Monitor” in Preset.
• When playback has completed, playback recues to the previous cue
point.
n To stop playback
Press 2.
• Playback stops, 1 goes out and CUE lights.
• The playback position is moved to the playback start position set
for “Finish Mode” in the preset menu, and playback stops.
• The stop position can be changed in the “Finish Mode” settings
as shown below.
When Stop is set : Playback is stopped at the start of the folder
or disc.
When Next is set : Playback is stopped at the beginning of the
next file.
When Recue is set : Playback is stopped at the point where
playback was previously started.
n To pause playback
Press 3 during playback.
• Playback is paused, and 3 lights.
• Press 1 again to restart playback.
n To return to the playback start position
Press CUE during playback.
• Playback switches to cue standby at the playback start position.
