JVL6-32 Residual Current Circuit Breaker
CVI3 controllers have a JVL6-32 residual current
circuit breaker with over-current protection which
provides protection against earth leakage faults
(30mA), overloads, short-circuits and over-
current in the installation (I=16A. see curve).
The over-current protection of the JVL6-32 uses
“D” tripping characteristics

Tools
Any excessive internal temperature of the tool
electric motor is detected by the controller and
the tool motor is opped.
The motor can art again only after the
temperature has decreased.
Motor temperature limits
handheld tools 60°C
xed tools 100°C
INSTALLATION
● See page 11.
A Quick-stop connection
● Swich o the GFI blue interruptor.
● Follow the instructions to wire the shunt.
● Connect the connectors as shown.
B Mounting
● Place the controller in such a way
the GFI blue interruptor can be easily
switched o.
● Install the controller as shown or use the
optional accessories listed page 9.
C Tool cable connection
● Before connecting the tool, check that its
features do not exceed the operating limits
specied by the manufacturer.
● Refer to the tool user manual at
https://www.desouttertools.com/
resource-centre
Although our tool cables are designed
to work under drastic conditions, we
recommend that you check the following
points for longer service life:
- Bending radii should not be lower
than 10 times the cable diameter
(D-c).
- Friction with the outer sheath
should be restricted (D-b).
- Any direct pull on the cable should
be avoided (D-a).
D Power cord connection
● Only use the cord supplied to connect the
controller to the mains power supply.
● Do not modify the cord or use it for any other
purpose.
