NOTE: Place a screw
driver through slots in
starter pulley (A6) to hold
in place while loosening
nut(Z5).
When removing fan be
careful not to damage the
fan blades.
When reassembling fan align
the four lugs on the rear side of
the fan with the small holes in the
flywheel.

Use a commercially available flywheel
puller to remove the flywheel. Avoid the
magnetic section of the flywheel when
attaching the puller. DO NOT hit the fly-
wheel with a hammer.
Clean crankshaft
before reassembling

Remove the ignition coil (D6)
before removing the flywheel.
