12. Spanning Tree Protocol configuration
(1) MSTP global configuration page
Figure 50 is the MSTP global configuration page, through which you can configure some MSTP related
information, mainly including:
Whether to enable MSTP.
Configure the bridge priority. Devices with lower priority are more likely to be the root bridge.
Enable BPDU filtering function on the port in the port fast bpdu-filter default state.
Enable BPDU guard function on the port in the port fast bpdu-guard default state.
Configure the forwarding delay.
Configure the interval for sending MSTP Hello packets.
The err disable mechanism is started. When a port that starts a BPDU guard receives a BPDU, it starts the
error disable timer. error disable restarts this port after the configured timeout.
Configure error disable timeout time.
Configure the number of seconds the switch waits to receive spanning tree configuration information before
triggering a reconfiguration.
Configure the number of hops specified before a BPDU is dropped in a domain.
Start or shut down and cisco compatible spanning tree protocol.
