Filling for transport
All devices are filled with gas to a slight overpressure (≈ pe 0.2 bar) in our works. Labels giving the
correct details for transport are provided.
Red label for devices filled with N
2
for transport
Green label for devices filled with SF
6
for transport
Accessories, which are filled with SF
6
-gas (e. g. pre-filter units) are provided with a green “SF
6
-filled
for transport” label.
Accessories, which are filled with N
2
-gas (vacuum pump units) are provided with a red
“N
2
-filled for transport” label.
Accessories which are filled with air (e. g. hoses) are not provided with a label.
Devices or accessories, which are filled with SF
6
-gas, can be put into operation without carrying out
any additional preparatory operations.
Devices or accessories, which are filled with N
2
-gas or air, must be evacuated before use with SF
6
-
gas otherwise the SF
6
-gas will be contaminated.
For pressure tanks, which are installed by the customer observe the following:
As the connecting hose is filled with air it must be evacuated after the installation, otherwise the SF
6
-
gas could be contaminated.
After setting the device into operation
remove the label for transport filling.
