  If your Dilo Security Sensors vacuum pump isn't reaching its usual pressure, the most common cause is contaminated oil, so try changing the oil. Also, check the hose or pipe connections for leaks. If there's a vacuum relief valve, make sure it's properly adjusted. Ensure there's enough oil in the reservoir and that the exhaust and oil filters aren't clogged. Clean any screens or filters on the suction connection. Clear any blockages in the suction, discharge, or pressure lines, and ensure these lines aren't too small in diameter. Inspect the inlet non-return valve and oil tubing for issues.

If the oil is burnt, flush the pump, replace filters, and refill with new oil; consider using oil with better heat resistance or retrofitting cooling if the oil life is too short.   If your Dilo Security Sensors vacuum pump doesn't start, first, ensure the drive motor is getting the correct voltage. Check if the drive motor starter overload protection is appropriately set, especially considering ambient temperature. Inspect the fuses and, for alternating current motors, check the drive motor capacitor. Ensure the connection cable is adequately sized to prevent voltage drop. If the pump or motor is blocked, disconnect the power, remove the fan cover, and try turning the motor by hand. If it's still stuck, separate the motor and pump to check them individually. If the motor is defective, replace it.
