Hinges, Torsion Rod Counter-Balance
The DKS Swing Gate Hinges are designed for heavy wrought iron gates. When using the flange style hinge, two are used at
the extreme top and bottom of the gate. When using the standard style hinge, the hinge can be welded to a gate
mounting post at almost any position and to the gate itself. For un-level swing gates, the torsion rod assembly provides a
method to counter-balance the gate to prevent gate runaway and relieves pressure on the gate operator. By adding
additional torsion rods (6 maximum), heavier gates can be accommodated.
