Read these instructions before working on equipment
Liability
Markem-Imaje shall not be liable in the event of failure to comply with safety instructions or
failure to observe the basic safety rules applicable to the use and maintenance of Markem-
Imaje equipment.
This equipment is certified to comply with Ministry of Labour regulations on the date of
manufacture.
Peoples carrying out modifications or repairs on the equipment shall bear sole liability for any
consequences arising from such operations.
Users shall also be liable for any consequences arising from the use of the equipment in a
manner which does not comply with Markem-Imaje's specifications.
Markem-Imaje equipments have obtained safety certification meeting safety standards for use
in accordance with Markem-Imaje's recommendations.
Modifications may compromise the compliance of the equipments with these safety
standards.
Markem-Imaje shall therefore accept no liability in the event of any malfunction or damage
arising from changes to the use recommended by Markem-Imaje or in the event of any
incidents arising from the use of the equipment for purposes other than those for which it has
been designed. The user has sole responsibility for taking any precautions which may be
required for the use of the equipment.
NOTE: If you have any questions or are in any doubt regarding the safety of this
equipment, please do not hesitate your closest Markem-Imaje service
centre, sales office or dealership for advice before you begin.
Training
Training is mandatory for all peoplenel responsible for installing, operating or servicing the
equipment. MARKEM-IMAJE or authorised MARKEM-IMAJE dealerships offer training
courses on the installation, operation and maintenance of MARKEM-IMAJE products.
