Start Up
• Switch on Primus using the
ON/OFF switch (1).
• Close Y-piece (place rmly
onto the corresponding cone
of the breathing system).
• Set the APL valve to MAN
and 30 mbar (2). There are
two versions of the APL valve.
Your version may differ from
the one shown.
• Close oxygen safety control
valve (3).
• Conrm the checklist,
if all points are OK.
• Primus will run internal
system tests.
Note: During this start up
procedure and up until the
checklist is conrmed, manual
ventilation is always possible. The
oxygen safety ow can be set to
0 -12 L/min and will be channelled
through the vaporiser.
