Braking is normally activated using the
forward/reverse lever (6). The hydrostatic transmission
brakes the roller when the lever is moved to the
neutral position.
There is a brake in each drum motor that acts as an
emergency brake during operation.
To brake in an emergency situation, push in the
emergency stop knob (3), hold the steering wheel
firmly and be prepared for a sudden stop. The
diesel engine stops.

After emergency braking, reset the forward/reverse
lever (6) to neutral position, pull out the emergency
stop button and activate the parking brake. Restart the
engine.

Turn the throttle control (2) back to idling. Allow the
engine to idle for a few minutes to cool.
Activate the parking brake (31).
Check instruments and warning lamps to see if any
faults are indicated. Switch off all lights and other
electrical functions.
Turn the starter switch (1) to the left to the switched off
position. At the end of the shift, fold over the
instrument cover (9) and lock.
