YouresetoutputQandthetime-to-gocountertothespecifiedvalueMIwithasignalatinputRal.The
operationhourcounterOTisresetto0.
DependingonyourconfigurationoftheQparameter,theoutputiseitherresetwitharesetsignalatinput
RorRal,orwhentheresetsignalis1ortheEnsignalis0.
LimitvalueofOT
ThevaluesoftheoperatinghoursinOTareretainedwhenyouresetthehourscounterwithasignalat
inputR.ThehourscounterOTcontinuesthecountaslongasEn=1,irrespectiveofthestatusatthe
resetinputR.ThecounterlimitofOTis99999h.Thehourscounterstopswhenitreachesthisvalue.
Inprogrammingmode,youcansettheinitialvalueofOT.Thecounterstartsoperationatanyvalueother
thanzero.MNisautomaticallycalculatedattheSTART,basedontheMIandOTvalues.

Retentivitywiththehourscounter
ThehourscounterinthexLogicisgenerallyretentive.
However,ifthevaluesofthehourscounterarelostafterapowerfailure,thenselecttherespectiveblock
inyourcircuitprogram.RightmouseclickonthehourscounterandselectBlockProperties>Parameters.
TheoptionRetentivitymustbeactivatedandnotchangeable(grayedout).
Ifthe Retentivity optionisnotavailable,thendeletetheblockandinsertanewspecialfunction hours
counter atthesameposition.
