The system must be installed in a temperature and humidity controlled indoor area free of conductive
contaminants.
Failure to follow guidelines may void your warranty.
The UPS equipment operating environment must meet the weight requirements shown in Table 2 and the size
requirements shown in Figure 5 through Figure 18. Dimensions are in millimeters (inches).
Table 2 does not include the weight of the Field Installed UPM (FI-UPM). For Field Installed UPM (FI-UPM)
weights and dimensions, refer to the Eaton 9395 Field Installed UPM Mechanical Installation Manual, listed in
paragraph 1.7 For More Information.
Table 2 Includes the weights of the heaviest cabinet configuration. Actual weights may be less due to installed
configuration. Weights are in kilograms (pounds).

The UPS cabinets use forced air cooling to regulate internal component temperature. Air inlets are in the front
of the cabinet and outlets are in the top. Allow clearance in front of and above each cabinet for proper air
circulation. The clearances required around the UPS cabinet are shown in Table 3. Dimensions are in
millimeters (inches).
