NOTE 1 The following procedure permits the UPS sections to be installed in a location where
there is limited space to slide the sections together from the sides.
NOTE 2 For the following steps, verify that the forklift or pallet jack is rated to handle the weight
of the section (see Table 2 for cabinet weight).
1. Unfasten the front door latch and swing the door open (see Figure 22).
2. Remove one top screw and two bottom screws securing the UPM section wireway panel (see Figure 28).
Lift the panel straight up to remove it from the panel hanger brackets at the top of the cabinet.
3. Remove the screws securing the top and bottom internal safety shield panels and remove the panels.
Retain the hardware for later use.
4. Remove the screws securing the corner channel and remove the channel (see Figure 28). Retain the
hardware for later use.
