4. If you plan to install power management software, connect your
computer to the USB port or RS-232 communication port. For
RS-232, use only the serial cable supplied in the accessory kit. For
more information about communication options, see page 57.

5. If you are installing a remote power-off (RPO) switch, see the
following section, “RPO Installation,” to install the switch before
powering on the UPS.
