Completing the Installation Checklist
This checklist ensures that you have completely installed all hardware, cables, and other equipment.
Completing all items listed on the checklist will help ensure a smooth installation. Make a copy of the
installation checklist before filling it out, and retain the original.
Note: The installation checklist MUST be completed prior to starting the RPP for the first time.
Installation Checklist
o All packing materials and restraints have been removed.
o The RPP is placed in its installed location and all doors, side panels, and interior barriers are installed and
secure.
o All conduits and cables are properly routed to the RPP.
o All power cables are properly sized and terminated.
o Branch circuit breakers are installed and wired to load.
o Cooper Bussmann disconnects and fuses are installed and wired to load.
o Input power connections are properly installed, including ground conductors.
o Neutral conductors are installed or bonded to ground.
o No foreign objects are inside the cabinet.
o LAN and telephone drops are installed, and LAN and telephone connections have been completed.
(Optional)
o Alarm relays and building alarms are wired appropriately. (Optional)
o Air conditioning equipment is installed and operating correctly.
o The area around the installed RPP is clean and dust–free. (The RPP must be installed on a level floor suitable
for computer or electronic equipment.)
o Adequate workspace exists around the RPP.
o Adequate lighting is provided around the RPP.
o A 120V service outlet is located within 7.5m (25 ft) of the RPP.
