CAUTION!
– Install the pump in an easily accessible, frost-protected location.
– Do not install pump and product container under window / supply air duct.
– Do not store new containers below 15°C, Cold chemicals can be viscous
and lead to system failures.
– Only operate the pump in conjunction with dry-running protection (e.g.
empty signal suction lance). Sucked in air (e.g. from empty containers) can
lead to malfunctions or pump failure.
5.1 Electrical Installation
DANGER!
Danger of electric shock
General guidelines and local installation regulations must be observed!
Make sure that the power supply is disconnected and secured against being
switched on again!
Electrical installations may only be carried out by qualified electricians in
accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
The Turbo SMART II is supplied WITHOUT a power supply cable.
An appropriate cable and pump control if necessary must be connected before putting it
into service.
We recommend a cable cross-section of 0.5 mm² for the connection, as well as using
ferrules at the pump connection.
Cables can be used with a cross-section up to 1 mm² and an outer diameter of
max. 7 mm.
5.1.1 Separate back cover module from pump module
1. Open the pump using an appropriate Phillips-head screwdriver. Release each of its
four locking screws. The locking screws are protected against falling out and will
remain in the pump module housing.
2. Remove the pump module.
