5.2 J2 Connector – Sound Velocity Device (optional)
This connector is unused and sealed with a blanking plug. The blanking plug is made of the same
material as the pressure housing and meet or exceed the required depth rating. Typically, this connector
is only populated should the system be used, standalone, in an ROV or other non-2300 vehicle where
accurate Sound Velocity information is required.
